Hanoi rain

A walk through a street market during a heavy tropical rain in Hanoi, Vietnam. When the rain starts, you can see the people suddently donning plastic coats and turning themselves into an army of blue and red ghosts.

I know man, where do they spawn these coats from? It happens almost instantly lol. One speck of rain and they just grow plastic sheets!

Yes, that's impressive. These coats are made of very thin plastic and people carry them everywhere during the rain season. There are also coats made for two (or 3, 4...) people when they're riding a motorbike.

im a Vietnamese ...i wasnt born in Hanoi but i've been living there 4 6 years.i can tell u that the raincoat is 1 of the most important thing 4 every1 especially in the rainning season (usually Summer and Fall)..every1!! like students put them in their bagpacks, workers, officers and any1else keep them inside the small box under your motorbike saddle. :D
