Amtrak Trip Part 6: Providence, RI-Mansfield WRONG TRACK!!

Our trip from NY to Boston in nearing the end of the road (track really) as we slow from our 125 mph speed to stop at Providence. There we meet a SB Regional with AEM-7AC #928 on the front with 2 cafe cars. As we depart you get a shot of the being-rebuilt North end Providence platform, and the State capital building in the background. We then go back to 125 mph as we rocket through under-construction South Attleboro station. We then slow for our cross-over to the SB track heading North and we meet an outbound MBTA train in doing so. We then go back up to 125 mph as we rocket through Mansfield. The next segment has Sharon station, where we see Zink444 on the side of the tracks! Out tip ends with Route 128 station.

@lespaulguy32 What do you mean? About switching to the wrong track? I'm sure there's some sort of reason why the trains are being routed like this, I'm just not sure what.

@Dynamite21 The speed limit is 150 mph, but only the Amtrak Acelas can go that fast. The Regional (the train I was on) which has the Amfleet passenger cars are only capable of doing 125, so we could only go as fast as 125 mph through Mansfield. Although 150 mph would've been much more fun! :D
