Even today a woman like her making that entrance would put my hormones upside down! Simply gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

She was and still is beautiful! She never had to chase after Elvis like every other woman he knew. Elvis told his "mafia" this girl is different. She was the female Elvis, no doubt. Nothing against Priscilla but, her likeness to Debra Paget, one of his first loves, is what drew Elvis' attention to her in the first place. I believe Ann was his 1st true adult love. He was obligated to marry Priscilla according to his best man. Her father made threats that could have ruined his career.

@BartA22 I agree with everything except for one detail.
Ann-Margret was conceived and born in Sweden.
She's a fine example of Swedish exports. ; )
Good God, there hasn't been this kind of sexual energy in the movies since this movie was made. No one in Hollywood comes close to this kind of energy. Elvis and Ann-Margret were NOT acting, that chemistry was REAL and just can't be duplicated by any actor/actress today. As for her "whistling motor", it was probably all the gawking guys whistling at HER as she drove by and she thought it was her motor. Both of their motors purred, growled, revved and roared!

"I.m known as your very bothering mechanic" is my favorite line, & by all reports Elvis did a lot of "bothering" with Ann Margret!!
