This kid was a shitty actor

Dude was a terrible anakin (yeah he was a kid. we know). I'd buy him a beer though. I know I couldn't have done better, and hes more than just a damn franchise character. He seems broken in this interview, but someone I'd like to get to know. I hope he nuts up and comes to terms with the bullshit of this world or else his shit will be in shambles.

Yet if you offer him money he'll go to the sci-fi fair etc. WTF bullshit if you say one thing an do another, even for money. And speaking of which, thats your life, now get over it and make some cash off of it. Stop bashing your winning ticket.

@unrealxXx Come on now, let's be honest: Jake Lloyd was TERRIBLE as Anakin. There's a documentary on the making of Episode 1 and it shows a lot of the other kids who auditioned and - no exaggeration - EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM was much better than Lloyd (who couldn't even remember the lines).
But yeah, I agree with you that no one should have to endure this much shit for just being a bad actor at 8 years old. The fact is that he should not have been cast, but that's Lucas' mistake, not Lloyd's.

@Yetaxa you know what you are shit you why dont you act if you think it is so horrable star wars is an awsome movie

I'm glad he's doing fine. Sadly, what he went through is just what high school is like in America - an anarchic hellhole that actively encourages bullying, discrimination, and gross injustice.
I doubt that it continued like that in college, though, at least not to the same extent. College is *demanding*, and jerkishness is NOT blindly tolerated. You can get expelled for giving someone a hard time.

Lol @people moaning about his acting in the film.
Practically all the acting in that film was shit.
-
@Deviliza And remember that we all have somebody who doesnt like us - it cant be avoided. I had a past too with people bullying me - I know lots of people who have had that. I know that your problems is blown up since to many people reconize you, but you have en even bigger fan-mob out there - just feel it. Grow - live life feeling better - believing your life can be better and will be better. Heal your wounds. Time will help - and you fighting for it will help even more.
-
Im am sorry you had a bad life so far - but assholes are anywhere. It has very little to do with the movie and more to do with people being assholes. The good thing is that things will start to change. Ever hear "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger"? Pull it together - take controll over your own life.Tell people who bother you that you fell bothered. Dont over-react. Leave them. Know that for everyone who treats you bad, there are a lot more people who likes you - enjoy that. Seek to good

The acting was awful, but that's because he was a kid. And the movie was bad.
@silenceineverywhere I watched The Phantom Menace in 3D yesterday and it wasn't bad at all. I don't see why many people gave him shit about his acting. First off he was a kid, and secondly the acting wasn't that bad at all.

He seems like a nice guy, I can completely empathise with him, I too would want to just forget about Star Wars. He seems to be pretty smart, he has learned from his experiences; both good and bad, and I really have to hand it to him, he wants to get as far away from Star Wars as he can and work hard to become successful at what he wants to do. Good on him.
