How long did this take you to build. I was thinking of getting either this or the estes executioner. One other thing is how does the D engine fit in the mount is that what that string was?

i havnt launched a rocket with an e engine, do you need the e rocket launcher thingy for e engines or can you use the regular one

The regular estes launch controller will light E motors.
The regular estes launch pad has worked ok for my Executioner on E motors. Haven't tried the Mean Machine on the regular estes launch pad, so not certain. There is a chance the height of the Mean Machine might cause the regular estes launch pad to tip over. If you stake the regular estes launchpad legs to the ground, i think it will not be able to tip over.
