  • A lot of stuff you hear on YT is simply a waste of your time. This wonderful piece by Natalie on the other hand is a mood changing event. If you have never heard such fantastic composition, melody, and mind blowing vocal with her band enjoy. You will come out the other end with a different view of Natalie Merchant, something other than what is heard on the radio. Those shorter songs are nice, but where Natalie really excels is in her longer pieces.

  • A perfect song from a perfect album. The entire CD is astoundingly beautiful, and it just doesn't age. It doesn't get old.

Actually Ophelia has the same qualities, but a little bit different production. Tigerlily is a more raw and Ophelia more lush.

  • Nice musical arrangements by Natalie Merchant and, what a lovely voice. Put on your head set turn off the computer monitor, sit back in your most comfortable chair and float away to another place.

  • @1860george I understand exactly what you mean. Peace to you.

  • That final solo....Oh my god i love it. Tigerlily is one of my favorite albums ever

  • For some reason this has always been my favorite song from "Tigerlily", but wow, the entire album is just brilliant & timeless stuff.........it sounds better now than it did back in 1995, if that's even possible.......

  • i lved her with " 10K m. " also lol she is one of a kind!!!!!

  • Probably not the smartest thing i've ever done but I recall taking a short drive home to my house after i had been at the local watering hole...I had several beers and a few bourbons and then smoked in the alley next to the bar...On the ride home I was so captivated by this song and I found myself driving 5mph on the road...once the solo hits I am hypnotized every time.

  • I love Natalie and have since I was introduced to her in 1992. This song makes me kinda sad tho. Her voice is so soulful and heart-wrenching; a good and bad thing all at the same time. Love, love her.

  • truly spritual and truthful

  • Mesmerizing...

  • One of my favourite songs... I love her...
