  • Jake Roberts for HOF 2012. Along with Macho Man and Owen Hart.

  • @Devin Hades: Who the hell are you to say that Martha Hart is a pretender? That woman lost her husband and the father of her kids over some stupid shit he had no business doing and said ahead of time he didn't wanna do...I'm so sick of people acting like Martha Hart and her children should just "get over it" so they can put Owen in a worthless Hall Of Fame that means nothing or stick him in a dumbass video game or DVD.....There's no time limit on grief and she shouldn't just "get over it" for us

  • @D2Kprime You entirely and exactly missed the grammar of point; Owen, being the sort of personality he was, was brow-beaten and cajoled into doing the stupid stunt, which had zero merit in regards to either (1) drawing money, or (2) entertaining fans. You also failed to address my point (in) regards to the reasons behind the "Superhero-like entrance". I wouldn't call Vince McMahon a murderer, but he was responsible for the accident. You seem woefully ill-informed on this issue, however.

  • @MattSingh1 : I know he voiced his objected to it which is why I said "he didn't want to do it." Otherwise how else would we know he didn't want to do it? Can't read minds. Point is that he agreed to do it and he didn't have to. Unfortunately for him it was a mistake that cost him his life.

  • @D2Kprime Actually, Owen voiced his objection to the 'Superhero-like' entrance on at least one occasion, but was persuaded by management to do it. Also, of course, not forgetting the whole Blue Blazer schtick was a punishment for being Bret's brother as well as a dig at Sting.

  • Cont: Owen made a bad decision and it cost him his life. Vince McMahon and Russo are responsible for coming up with the stupid stunt, and Owen is responsible for going through with it. In that bane, banning Owen from WWE doesn't do anything constructive at all. It's taking away money that could be used for the family. They took the lawsuit money so why not take money in royalties from Owen merchandise as well? I agree the WWE HOF is a joke, but Owen deserves a tribute DVD a least.

  • @TheDillengerEffect: At the end of the day you have to remember that Owen made the decision to go up there. He didn't want to do it, he shouldn't have been asked to, but he did it anyway. It is said that Owen was trying to save up enough money to retire at his soon expiring contract. Even if Vince did job him to oblivion, he could have easily signed a 1-year deal with WCW and got the extra cash to retire on. Bischoff was spending money like water around that time.

  • @warriorofwrestlingv3 Just because Owen Hart upset in a fluke and was in the Hart family doesn't mean he deserevs an HOF.Demolition does.Heck,EVERYBODY deserves an HOF induction more than Owen Hart

  • @terryfink EXACTLY!

  • @warriorofwrestlingv3 Everyone knows they were originally based on Road warriors but to be fair most copied gimmicks don't work, Demolition did..

They were a cool team, they didn;t legit beat people up like Road warriors and could wrestle a bit too imo. Its not like LOD walked in WWF and everyone suddenly jumped ship to them. Both were liked.

  • @LiveforChrist999 Demolition had shit on the Road Warriors-the tag team on which they were based. Everyone knew they were just a shameful rip-off of the Road Warriors. Owen is far more deserving of a place in the HoF. What'd he do to deserve his spot? Competed in some of the most memorable WWE matches of all time with his brother Bret, was one of the most exciting superstars of his day, and belonged to the legendary Hart family. And he died for the business

  • @LiveforChrist999 lol Demolition wasn't that great at all...a cheap rip off of the Legion of Doom and only lasted for a couple of years. Owen Hart was a much better wrestler and did much more in and for the business than either Demolition members. I'm not disagreeing with you about Savage...
