Reason Tutorial - Quantizing in Reason

Great vid homes.Not quite sure if you're aware of this, but when you doing hip hop and you are doing your hi hats, dont quantize em and if u do, drag em to the right so that they drag a tiny bit over the snare giving it more of a soulful feel. Listen to Dilla, Pete, Premo, the list goes on. The proof is in the puddin.

well I play all of my stuff in by hand so the "dragging" you're talking about I do naturally with playing technique. Also I never quantize 100% that's a sin against man and good music. I usually do 25% or less. Give it a natural feel. I'm going to be posting a reason session on here soon, you should check it out when I do. You'll really be able to hear the drag I put into my tracks. and its all manually by playing. BARELY any quantizing.

How can you get the quantizing function on that bar where you have them on reason 4

oh yea. thats something they changed. and that I HATE ABOUT REASON FOUR!! I haven't upgraded yet. but you theres no way to get it in the bar like that. they changed it. they tried to re-invent the wheel and broke it.
