No. Ryan could play the guitar, and I believe Renee could actually play the piano. Mario Lopez could actually play the drums as well. But on the show they didn't (mainly due to the fact that almost none of these shows is any live music actually played due to sound quality)

I think many of the Kids Inc. versions of songs were better than the originals, actually! Especially in the earlier seasons.
