dont forget the fact that the n8 suports wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. all that coupled with a good memory bank=personal pc on the go.

What file format is the HDD ? I have an external case for one 200 GB HDD and it doesn't work with my E7... It has 3 partitions and all 3 are NTFS... they should be FAT32? Or is some other issue? Never tried with other external HDD... It could be awesome if it worked properly...

Notice, it can only read the HDD if the HDD has an external power source !
