  • i actually made all the muzzle flash in this video myself in photoshop, dust effects were from action movie essentials, and my blood effect was a combination of action movie essentials and photoshop. I find photoshop and premiere give you the freedom to do what you want how you want, although action movie essentials sometimes makes thing quick and easy

  • action movie essentials is kinda cool but no its not necessary at all. I play around with creating my own effects(blood, bullet holes, muzzle flash) in photoshop, and then incorporating them in premiere. Its more fun to make your own.

  • lol! unexpected stuff always happens wen ur making a film, there is so much hard work behind the scenes that the audience don't see

  • im hoping to create a short movie yeah and we have one or two in the works. I'm also trying to cheaply get after effects, as i currently just use premiere elements and photoshop elements.

  • Oh sweet, Keep up the good work man, your getting handy at After Effects. Ever think about making a short movie? would kick ass.

  • yeah we could work on our angles for lighting agreed there man thanks. I use a Sony Handycam DCR-SR82 camera. It seems to work quite well.

  • Pretty awesome dude, What camera are you using? Nice shots by the way, Just watch the Light when you were walking past the camera on the ground, kinda made you look really dark and hard to distinguish, But thats just constructive criticism, overall - Awesome!

  • yeah man will do

  • Mail me if you can:)

  • havent quite perfected it but i should put some tests with it on youtube sometime soon

  • ok would like to see it :)

  • yeah we hope to use a combination of both in the future, and ive recently created a new CG blood effects thats more subtle and realistic

  • Well not bad. But you should use fake blood and not an computer effect.

  • yeah its a completely unfinished scene that was gonna be part of a film we wrote but the snow melted and we didnt get to continue or shoot the parts i wanted to change. I just put it on as is.

  • nice but i doesn't need the first few shots. try to build up tension b4 starting action (short sharp rapid shots would look good)
