Gail tries out the steaming on the Breville Programmable Die Cast espresso machine, seeing how it performs with its regular panarello attachment and without it -- using it like a traditional steam wand. Pretty good results, all things considered!

    Thank you...

I think I might stick to the via Venezia..

    Or

    What do you think...?

  • @roman21000 I think you need to stick with the Via Venezia -- better temp regulation in my opinion :) - Kat

  • Can you give a review of the machine please...:)

  • @roman21000 We do, we have another video for it. - Kat

  • just out of curiosity, what is the wand on the left side for?

  • @argheighteen This is for adding hot water to complete a long black coffee.

  • Ha - totally. Yeah, I think it probably has a home with someone (as is true of any machine) but we are not super in love with its extraction results. - Kat

  • Thank you for testing the machine. I owned one for a month 2 years ago and returned it. The espresso was diluted hot water,it reminded me of Folgers Coffee crystals with some frothed brown milk for crema. I was heartbroken and sick to my stomach for I had just spent 500 dollars and my espresso journey was at a dead end and I was still in the parking lot.Thankfully someone cared enough to tell me the truth and I got a Gaggia Classic and an MDF grinder.Danger Will Robinson....danger!!!! • Yeah, we were pretty impressed by the steaming power...and after the shot testing, we've decided that this is a good machine for folks that will drink lattes/capps and maybe have syrups involved so that the lackluster shot won't mean so much as it would be diluted. - Kat
