Am I the only one who finds it weird the movies are called "Shanghai Noon," and "Shanghai Knights"? Neither of them take place in Shanghai!

One good Van Damme movie I recommend is Universal Soldier he's awesome in that movie, don't bother with the sequels though unless you're curious.

I've been wanting to see that one since I've gotten into him. I'll see it eventually.

Do the sequels have good action in them? I'll watch them if they do.

The Nostalgia Critic did a review of a really good Van Damme movie: Double Team. Seriously, I think you'll like that one. The chemistry between Van Damme and Dennis Rodman makes it all the much better. Like Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson in Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. One more thing: I like Chuck Norris. I don't worship him. I just like him. Yes, I believe Bruce Lee is better.

@Benthelooney The action is decent enough in the sequels but the storylines and supporting characters are terrible, his girlfriend from the original for whatever reason doesn't appear in the sequels and she was a very interesting character and Van Damme doesn't appear in two of them (there are four in total with a fifth in the works) even though it's supposed to be his character.
