After I purchased my new Core i5 MacBook Air yesterday I immediately ran a ssd benchmark using 'Blackmagic disk speed test' wich is available for free download in the Mac App Store.

Unfortunately I had to find out that Apple used a low performance Toshiba SSD which is remarkably slower than the Samsung SSD thats found in other MacBook Airs.
