how do you get started after high school

go to a local community college. most community college have fire academy. or even some universities. or you can go to your fire department and talk to them about how to start

Im only 15, but here in Vegas they will give us up to 3 years of training and then they hire us at 50k a year starting, and before I get hired I get to ride along, not a bad thing, IM so excited.

i like how he pulled the minuteman load off only 6 inches before he ran with it...not the most effective way to do it! thats what the academy is for though!

I already have a high school diploma and a bachelors degree, but I'm thinking about getting my G.E.D. too.

You can never have too many certificates.
