Getty Villa Museum, Malibu, CA

The Getty Villa museum in California is a replica of an ancient Roman villa excavated in Herculaneum, near Pompeii. It houses Etruscan, Greek and Roman antiquities. It's a beautiful place overlooking the ocean, and the collection of artifacts is wonderful.

Sorry about the vid quality, it's the first time I've done something like this and have a Flip on order, hope I'll do better with that.

I usually get there by 10:30 a.m., and since I am local I often go in the winter months. There were a lot of people there the day I made the video, though!

Admission is free; you need a parking reservation made ahead of time. Parking fee is $15 or close to it.

Thank you for posting this. I've looked and looked for video inside the Getty; this is the best I've yet found. I'm using the building in a story and despaired of finding something with this sort of detail. Thank you so very, very much.
