Two days after the 2008 presidential election, the media, from Boston to New York, was looking for controversy as Jeremiah Wright (Barack Obama's former pastor) and John Rankin (a white evangelical minister) addressed the topic of "The Bible, Race and American History". Instead, genuine and proactive conversation happened, setting the stage for a future forum where the question of racial and economic justice will be addressed. For those interested in substance not hype...

I would agree if Oprah wouldn't have had that issue in the Hermes store and if JayZ wouldn't have had that issue when he was buying his house in Jersey...Race is a unresolved issue in America and around the world....

um, im white, and ive been in those neighborhoods, and i experienced that pain.
with the way things are going .. its not about races being poor anymore, its social classes now. your race no longer matters, only your checking account and your banking investments. oh yea, and your credit score. if you're poor, you're poor, and you live where poor people do. these neighborhoods are usually very diverse, and often times have more minorities than white people, but i dont feel out of place one bit!!
