Christmas Ornament Digital Display

The Digital Christmas Tree Ornament is a modern approach to the classical tradition of hanging ornaments on a Christmas tree during the holidays. The ornament is housed in a custom rectangular enclosure, with a central 4.3? LCD used for displaying pictures from an external memory source found in most digital cameras. The ornament receives power from four standard AA batteries that allow the unit to operate for roughly seven hours.

The digital ornament is light enough to hang from a tree, while allowing the user to use an innovative LCD touch screen and menu interface to traverse through the pictures located on the external memory card. The digital ornament is also capable of interfacing with a standard PC to load new pictures and browse currently stored images on the memory card.
