I've heard a lot of people say that conventional off-the-shelf peanut butter a.k.a PB is bad for health because they contain all sorts of food preservatives, chemicals and coloring. So I decided to make my very own homemade peanut butter.

Ingredients:

Peanuts
Himalayan rock salt
organic brown sugar (the one that's really brown and moist)

It turned out pretty good in terms of taste but in terms of texture, it didn't. Anyways, enjoy the video and for more info about my very own homemade peanut butter, visit: http://shoukei-s.blogspot.com

  • That's not how you do it. Peanuts should be baked not boiled. Also you should add one teaspoon of oil for each cup of peanuts. Blend it all (this will take some time) until creamy.

  • booooooooooooooooo

  • Nice and easy way to make penut butter and ur video has also a nice humor :)

  • If you don't have an oven, roast the peanuts in a skillet over medium heat with a little bit of oil while constantly stirring/moving them. You should not boil the peanuts - you will lose flavour into the boiling water. Also, boiling water doesn't go any higher than 100C/212F. You need a temperature of about 150C/300F to fully develop the nutty flavour. A blender will do fine for grinding. If the peanuts don't liquidize in 4 minutes, add a spoonful of oil. Add salt/sugar to taste. Good luck!

  • how much
