Not to take away from our victory because we would have kicked their ass with or with or without Struss, but our freshman clearly won the job in pre season. He had a great season and was amazing in the playoffs. Taking nothing away from Vito he would have been a good back for us, but he could not have done the things that Steve did.

the refs didn't hand us TDs if that's what your thinking. and the mommy and daddy thing is a "you get everything on a silver platter" thing. hard to relize when that's how you get it. and you say struss shits on murph, but murph played with an injury, struss didn't i think it came down to, we had respect for what you could do and knew how to stop it and you didn't have respect, still don't, for us and didn't know how to stop everything we could throw at you. river dell was the same way.

and when we played vernon they didn't have their top notch running back either. but not once did i see anywhere about vernon bitching about the loss because they didn't have their best back. and vernon was a group iv school. fact of the matter is we kept our cool and made west essex play our style of football. and despite being a 50/50 team with a 2 back run game murphy still managed over 1000 yards this season, with a broken hand. struss didn't do that.
