CSX Train O031 is a work train that has been laying down new ties all along the tracks from Hyde Park and moving north. At this point, they have finished Hyde Park, moved through Staatsburg, and are now working on dropping ties in Rhinecliff. Here, we see O031 trundle southbound through Barrytown, just north of CP94. O031 is blowing for the track crew that is working on the switches at CP94. Today's consist is SD50-2 2482 with a ramp car holding a back-hoe and 7 ancient gondola cars, most of them ex-NYC and PRR, holding the ties, with SD40-2 8825 on the rear. Enjoy the sound of the K5H on the 2482. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on July 3rd, 2008.
