If you've stumbled onto this video out of a genuine fascination of angler fish and/or videos with horrible sound, you're probably wondering why everyone else is obsessed with oatmeal. They're not. They're obsessing over Oatmeal, a sort of webcomic slash blog thing that did a very humorous piece about these horrors of the deep. I'd link you, but it angers the youtube gods. Just google "oatmeal angler fish" and pray it's not blog post after blog post waxing amused revulsion over the popular breakfast menu item at Japanese McDonald's hogging up the first few pages again.
