incorrect. Mobius is not canon. it is something Sega of America made up, but as we know Sonic originates form JAPAN. The creators of sonic always INTENDED for sonic to take place on earth, and ever since they changed Robotniks name to the canon name of "Eggman" from japan, they too have changed the location of sonics planet to earth
