"White... a blank page or canvas. The challenge: Bring order to the whole through design, composition, balance, light, and harmony."

Because a lot of you wanted something from SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE... and here it is! This is one of the songs that I hear that I really cannot help but cry every time I hear this song. This is an absolute perfect song from Stephen Sondheim, and when he captures these elements in his music and lyrics in this way, it strikes me with awe. SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1985, and ran the Booth Theatre for a year starting in 1984. Another Pulitzer Prize winner is currently playing the Booth, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's "next to normal", but will soon be leaving town in January. SUNDAY IN THE PARK ran for 604 perfs, while "next to normal", at the time of closing, will have eventually played 733 performances. Don't worry -- a video from that will be coming very soon. Enjoy being transported to the Isle of La Grande Jatte. Comments are welcome.
