"Never do nothin yah wouldn't want printed on the front page of The New York Times." Billy, you bring beauty to wisdom. You are loved by many Judy, and sorely missed. Thanks for giving the world Billy.

This is why Billie was such a well loved character. She's NOT your stereoptypical dumb blonde. She WASN'T born yesterday. She's smarter than what credit she's given. There are some things she doesn't understand, but it doesn't make her dumb and it doesn't mean she can't learn. She see things in a different way, her way, because she can understand them like that. Bottom line, she's herself, and is not afraid to show it. At 3:46, she understood, just come out and tell it like you see it lol.

@darkomizu This is basically what college does. It trains people how to wrap up ideas into a very specific package. A package that only the right people will understand to prove you speak the same language. It's a way to keep the people who don't know this language out of the world of those who do. You have to write things in certain voice, etc. I agree. Scholarly texts are all written in this way and lay people can't understand them which means they also can't argue against them. Just say it!!!

someone NEEDS to show this movie to the Paris Hiltons of the world

@darkomizu The reason why "some" people use big words is due to an insecurity and a need to feel "superior'. Many times it's not the use of big words that matters so much as the effective use of language.
This also includes the understanding of simple grammar. The use of "its" and "it's" is one such example.
No offense, but you may have meant "it's" as a contraction of it is, not "its," which is a pronoun like his or hers.

oh william holden! :)

@darkomizu Exactly, specially in politics, this type of pretentious, indecipherable language is rampant.
Hope I didn't commit the same mistake. :o)
I love this movie !! Especially this part. Why do certain people feel its necessary to use big showy words? The easiest way to make them understand is plain easy language. It really frustrates me when people start talking about politics and go into the "I want to look sophisticated and smart" mode. Make me want to smack the crap outta them. Anyway this is one of the great classics in my opinion! Thanks for putting it up. :D

How awesome is that concert???!!? Seriously, to be able to sit in a canoe and listen to Beethoven played by an amazing orchestra would be so nice.
