@Mor7682 The uncle "Grand Duke Ernst Of Hesse" does not appear in this story. Rex Harrison's character is the one who thinks Anastasia is an imposter. In reality, it was the Grand Duke Ernst Of Hesse" that thought she was an imposter.

I have no idea why the "Grand Duke Ernst Of Hesse" was not in this story as this was part of his story too.

She eventually moved to the United States and married a Virginia history professor, Jack Manahan. They were known as eccentrics, as they were financially well-off but lived in squalor. The press probably benefited, and perhaps her supporters gained from being associated with the famous "Anastasia." "Eric" did not exist, though Anna did manage to convince some high-profile supporters, who contributed money, lodging, etc. Anna died in 1984.

Did "Anastasia" live the rest of her live in luxury? Did she marry or what became of her ? I noticed a few say in there comments that she and others did it for the money but who else benefited from it also ? Also did Eric help her in her con ???

Im bitten by the Anastasia theorist / story bug!
