This video shows you how quick and easy it is to create a membership directory for your club or association using CatBase and Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress.
Quickly turn your database or spreadsheet data into a perfectly formatted directory with CatBase Directory Publisher! all the tedious, time-consuming, error-prone work is doen automatically for you when you publish the data.

Sorry for the delayed response - I only just saw your message!

The short answer to your question is that it depends how simple or complex your directory is. Since this response is limited to about 400 characters I can't go into detail here:) If you would like a more detailed answer, please email support at catbase.com. Thanks for your interest! Pat

  • Is it necessary to use a program like CatBase to publish a directory in InDesign? What's wrong with importing an older MS Works or Excell database into InDesign?

    Didn't Adobe allow for that?

You neglected to show how Styles are created. Is that on a separate video?
