  • all 3 of them were MURDERED in real life. JD was purposely killed in a car crash before this came out, sal was stabbed to death in 1976, and natalie wood was drugged then thrown in the ocean in 1981.

  • uhm.. James Dean was never 'murdered'...

and yes, all their deaths were and still are quite tragic.

  • Thumbs up if you can't hear this song anymore without thinking of Rebel Without a Cause.

  • no music gonna be better.....

  • what the....

  • O.K. people lets get this right. James Dean was killed in a car ACCIDENT (not killed on purpose. please) Sal Mineo was killed ON PURPOSE I assume, since he was stabbed.

Natalie Woods death was ruled as an accidental drowning. Lets ease up on the fabricated dramatics.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 She was killed by number 2!

  • @390bullitt1968 Wrong, James Dean died in a car crash and Sal Mineo was stabbed.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 Mineo was killed in a plane crash while Dean had a heart attack. Wood slipped on a boat and fell into the water at night.

  • @390bullitt1968 Natalie Wood was drinking the night she drowned, but drugs and booze had nothing to do with James Dean's death, or Sal Mineo's.

  • The three actors died from accidents because they participated in risky behavior.

    Drugs, alcolhol etc.

  • @redhead1892 That's because people can relate to it, they remember feeling that way as teenagers, so the movie doesn't really date itself that much. Now Blackboard Jungle is very dated compared to Rebel, but for some reason there are a lot of people who say they relate more to Blackboard Jungle, than to Rebel, I guess their youth is in the FAR back for them and they don't remember being that age.
