Get Fresh at MANNA combines cooking classes with a campaign to educate existing MANNA clients on the benefits of purchasing and using locally grown foods when they no longer need MANNA's meal-delivery services. The goal of the class is to increase participants' understanding of their own nutritional requirements and to demonstrate how these needs can be met at a reasonable cost using fresh local, healthy, seasonal ingredients that are available at local markets and farm markets.
