The Blind Spot no longer exists if both rear vision mirrors are convex and "framed" so as to recognize a following car at a safe lane-change distance.

  • THis is most effective for the stiff necks of aging where a long body turn is required to "look back." Attention to the road ahead is lost.

  • Somehow you missed the point. Yes, a pro can make the adjustment, but it is the added frame that locates the following car as to position and speed, something even a pro cannot do. Make sense?.

  • Please explain. The significant views are on the road and not on placing the frame correctly. The following car must be in the frame. Have I missed something as I am on the road.

  • Sorry. Wish everyone is the expert you are. Then all accidents would end.

  • That comment speaks for itself.

  • What happened to doing a shoulder check?

  • In virtually every modern road car, adjusting your side mirrors out to the proper angle will eliminate the blind spots on either side of the car. You should not be able to see any part of your car in the side-view mirrors when seated in the upright drivers' position.

  • DO NOT DO THIS. this is not legal

  • Blind spot terminator ... for people who dont have necks

  • The main problem with this demo is that three quarters of the mirror is looking at the sky. That is not just wrong, but it is wrong headed. Three quarters of the field of view has been squandered. Why do that? Is he interested in looking at birds, airplanes tree tops and sky or is he interested in maximizing his view of traffic? Think about it for five minutes before doing a video. Listen to a 35 year veteran pro driver and live.
