Let's put an end to the BS once and for all. Here's a happy, (reasonably) healthy, and excited Daniel Johnston performing the first two songs of his brief "comeback" performance in 1997. Between this and Pt. 2, you'll hear every note, word, and "free bird" from the show, and you can decide for yourself whether or not (as some claim) Dan was in a bad way and yelled in horror at the crowd "We're all gonna die!" I DON'T THINK SO!!!
