how do you know what do fill in black!? and what to leave white?
TimTinhTran 1 year ago
@TimTinhTran - Working with shadows or the balance between black and whites, was one of the toughest chores I had to learn to work with many years ago. After some time, it got registered in my mind and now isn't as hard as it looks. The meticulous details does throw me off at times and leaves me wondering what the heck it is I'm inking, lol. But I start off with a basic choice of light source/angle and keep that source in mind until the shading process is complete. :)

@MisterCzorny Hi MisterCzorny :)
I use Staedtler pigment liners to draw cards and 107 size quill nibs for other details.
Also use Speedball waterproof black india for all heavy blacks. =] thanks!
