crazy - the slower they show the replay, the more time Lucic has to avoid Miller! What was he thinking? This is why the NHL needs to perfect its "instant slow motion button" technology whenever it looks like there's going to be a hard hit. Miller, for his part, not trying at all to get out of the way either.

100% agreed. Given the goalie a no-hit mark makes everything fuzzy and now it's up to the refs to mete out punishments. Some consistency would be nice.

My opinion if the goaltender wants to come out of the crease they should be considered a player and abide by the same rules everyone else does. If your gonna come out that far your fair game I'd say the same thing if Thomas was dumb enough to come out that far.

Plus what I meant was, it's not fair that there's this standard that goalies are not to be touched by anyone. I understand that they're an invaluable asset to the team. But they have padding to stop 90 MPH slapshots, and you think a little bodycheck is worth getting upset about? Clearly he wasn't concussed or else he wouldn't have had the motor skills instantaniously after the hit to swing his stick at him.
