Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Youth Assembly

The Youth Assembly is a non-profit and volunteer organization founded by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to gather the youth of Istanbul from different social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds and with the energy and dynamism of youthfulness to work for the benefit of Youth of Turkey and The World. Members of IMM Youth Assembly have the opportunity to express themselves and their opinions and ideas. Also the projects in their minds and dreams are evaluated, developed and implemented thanking to over 4500 volunteer members aged between 16-25 years.

Members of Youth Assembly are oriented to 16 different commissions ( EU Commission, Law and Human Rights Commission, Foreign Relations and Tourism Commission etc. ) by considering their metiers and interests. Each commission developes and participates national and international projects about their fields of interest to speak up the voice of Istanbul Youth and has a word on the issues, needs and decision making processes of Turkey and The World. Through these beneficial projects and organizations, Youth Assembly members both contribute their self-development and the Youth of Istanbul and whole society.
