ooops, I stand corrected, it was the Berkshire Music Center at Tanglewood, Mass, in 1940, its premier, and the music arrived 45 minutes before it was performed!

Nice job, I agree it is better ( and intended ) to be a capella, but it was written originally for a ceremony at Harvard, IIRC, and there was VERY limited time for rehearsal at it debut. One of the finest "Alleluias " out there, Sop section did a good job, no scooping on those high notes, and the Tenor and Bass section seemed confident. Nice blend, IMHO,

volume level is all wrong. Beginning markings are (ppp) and it should be song sweetly.

Thompson's Alleluia is intended to be an unaccompanied work, and is an introspective and pensive work, written as it was in 1940.
