@mmaaat123 I second that. The Mother series in whole is amazing, but this one did it's job of wrapping up the trilogy with an even more touching story than the first two games. Itoi anounced he'd like to novelize the story of Mother 3, and I really wish he'd find an author to do that. It's an amazing story.

however, i see the problem with depressing endings. i, for one, am not a fan of purely depressing endings because the main characters have to go through so much shit and what do they get in the end? a tease from life, saying "oh, sorry, guess you're not gonna get a happy ending after all. just go commit suicide, ha ha ha."
that's why i hate depressing endings. however, i think the ending for mother 3 showed that lucas has become a man and had the potential to save the world.

actually, i wouldn't say that toy story 3 was depressing, as it was more bittersweet. sure, andy gave them away, but at least he did it with the last of his childhood love. and even though the toys are passed onto a new kid who loves toys as much as andy did, they at least had the last knowledge that andy truly loved them and that neither will ever forget each other. both are sad, but are also happy in the end.

After the mother series, I can't look at anything the same.
Not when i'm eating an omlette,
