Great job uploading these. The armour episode would be nice to see as well.

throwing a spear? a javelin, by all means, that's what it's for. but a spear is to heavy to be trown effectively. and as we say in reenactment, if you throw your spear, you throw your life. (or the captain grabs you by the belt and tosses you into the other line to fetch your weapon back)

@Vovk3 But whats so wrong with none whites living along side us?

"Viking" is more of an occupation than a particular group of people. Hence the term, "to go a viking". There were "vikings" all over Europe.

Seeing that guns are now banned in the UK, it doesn't actually pose a huge issue if the natives there were to throw out the immigrants. All they need is English spirit, and quite literally, swords.

He's actually right.

Thanks Kisk. These docos are informative, well-made and great fun to watch. It's also really refreshing to have someone like Mike Loades as the frontman - someone passionate and 'in love' with what they're talking about. Good man. :)

Przekleństwo studentów anglistyki... Brr!
The blonde guy who was reloading the crossbow in the longbow episode is in all of these, and he's always wearing the same clothes! Does he have like duplicate sets of the same cloths like cartoon characters, or does he never wash them or something?! He also wears the same necklace in all of these episodes.... Just something I noticed.

@Ivaron2 They likely did multiple takes of different things on the same day. Or it was for a period of time, and seeing as how they're working with things that are likely to muck up your clothes if you make a mistake, maybe the ones he's wearing are clothes that he doesn't care about.
