He plays quite well, and if you read back I never once said this guy played poorly......you did. He simply doesn't have the style correct. The notes and rhythms are quite accurate and very few mistakes, but I don't hear that much "music." I am sure that he is working on the piece and it will get better. As for Carol, yea, not that great...principal with Philly Orchestra at age 19 and teaches at Curtis, youre really right,,,not THAT great.

Do you know who DrXtuba is? I guarantee he can play the piece better than you can musipla1.

Thank you so much. I am a sophmore in high school and am doing this for a contest. This makes a lot of those rhythms clearer.

hey no problem man! i have seen reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bad stuff on here, i thought you did okay job! Progress is good, always forward!
Listen here drxtuba. You don't understand what real music criticism is. He didn't say he's bad even though this really sholdn't be posted. you just need to chill out. As for Carol, drxtuba you can shove it...you have no clue. Have you ever heard this even played correctly. Quit with your jiving drxtuba and get your head out of your rear!

You're right, I probably shouldn't have posted this. I was kind of dusting this piece off after a few years of not playing it. The reason for posting it at the time was so I could look back and see my progress. My intention was never to spark a debate whether or not I suck! :)

You sound great! The low b natural in the second measure of the 9/8 could use better tone and I think you could go back and fix some little rhythm errors, and maybe make all your triplets even... I would love to hear the rest of the movement! You sound great! This is a tough piece!
