This video explains what types of foods are Th1 and Th2 stimulants.
People who have either a Th1 or Th2 dominance should be very cautious of the foods they are eating in order to prevent an accidental spike in their Th levels.

  • Where can I view that list of TH1 and TH2 stimulants? Can`t find it on your website.

  • Here in UK its difficult to get tested to see if you`re TH1 or TH2 dominant. I think there is one lab but it costs about £300. So, couldn`t you take a good guess by the types of reactions you have, i.e. if you`re TH1 dominant wouldn`t you suffer from more inflammatory type things and if you`re TH2 dominant you`d react with allergies and sensitivites? I have Hashimoto`s Disease and have an overload of TPOabs which I guess must be dominated by TH1s. Does this make sense?

  • @m015094 th17, IL-17

  • th1 linked to MS, RA, + diabetes,

th2 linked to atrophy an allergy, hypersensitivity 2 and 3 diseases

hence, autoimmunigenicity is not only Ab mediated against self AGs

  • Most people are fine with either UNLESS they are autoimmune. AI patients will be Th1 or Th2 dominant. The Th17 system is often ramped up as well - especially in the microglial system in the brain. The Th17 may be ramped up even if there is NO antigen present. A hyper-Th1 response for a seemingly distant problem can fire a Th17 response in the brain that can remain dominant long after the Th1 response has quieted. Bottom line - get checked ...

  • Aren't most people fine with either as long as they have the proper precursor (IL-4, IL-12)?

    What about TH17?
