'The Horror of Dracula' (1958) is one of the best known interpretations of Bram Stoker's original story. It was a Hammer Horror production directed by Terence Fisher and starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Michael Gough.

The story begins when young Jonathan Harker (John Van Eyssen), sets out to kill the legendary Count Dracula (Christopher Lee). Unfortunately Harker's plan fails miserably and the Dutch doctor Abraham Van Helsing (Peter Cushing) comes to his aid. Dracula himself keeps claiming victims. Among them is Jonathan Harker's fiancée, Lucy (Carol Marsh). Her brother Arthur (Michael Gough) teams up with Van Helsing to protect his family.

'The Horror of Dracula' is easily one of the best films in the horror genre. It is a film with some legendary cast members. Such as the two lifelong friends Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Serenada Schizophrana is a collection of compositions by Danny Elfman. The piece used for this video is called 'The Quadruped Patrol'.

'Serenada Schizophrana' belongs to Sony BMG Masterworks. 'The Horror of Dracula' belongs to Warner Bros.

  • Great video. I am such a fan of Cushing and Lee. This is the best undoing of a vampire ever put to film. Superb.

  • This video is exceptional. Just great. Everything fits perfect with the music!

  • That was absolutely brilliant, SteVin! Another great short film! This is what you do best. You don't make music videos. You make silent films set to great music. That's your genius.
