IRONMAN France 2010 - Training

On 27th June 2010, I will be attempting to complete the French IRONMAN triathlon alongside friends from Fouteen Athletics Club. We have, previously, competed in marathons and triathlons, but in 2006 decided to take-on a bigger, more ambitious challenge - and they don't come much bigger than the IRONMAN! This gruelling event is an extended triathlon involving a 2.4 mile open water swim followed by a 112 mile cycle and then a full (26.2 mile) marathon - a total distance of 140.6 miles. With little over a month until the event, I am trying to raise £1,406 (£10 per mile) for the humanitarian medical organisation Médecins Sans Frontières.
