@SweetDaddyBugg Ha, yeah. What's neat, though, is that Narada needs NO charity for his bass choices -- both in terms of what he wrote/arranged, and who he had kicking that bass' ass. That makes a total Rick tribute like this even more rich.
I think the whole song is a tribute to Rick.

well both bass lines also sound like Thriller but even that song came out later than the King Of Punk-Funk. Rick James is the best RIP
