"La Lugubre Gondola" S134 in the rare version for cello and piano by Franz Liszt recorded by Nicolas Deletaille and Alain Roudier at Steingraeber Concert Hall in Bayreuth, Germany in September 2010. (Sound & vidéo: Luc Henrion.)
A CD recording with the same two artists was released by Contréclisse with late music by Franz Liszt for cello and piano. This album can be found at most music download providers (itune, amazon, rhapsody, etc) as well as on physical CD at CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/nicolasalain
Both instruments are historical : the cello is a Martin Stoss 1826 instrument (gut strings) and the fortepiano is the Steingraeber opus1 from 1851!
Thank you so much. Great. I loved seeing this!
