@MB7rock They did a fantastic job. I haven't heard many good remakes in my lifetime but i have heard some like Tool covered the Led Zeppelin song No Quarter and Metallica did Tuesday's Gone. But the one cover i have actually enjoyed the most was Fear Factory covering the song Cars from Gary Numan. But other than that i say leave the classics alone. I say that with movies too Hollywood has lost all creativity. :)
@WillFielder78 O God. You just touched on a major issue with me. Tribute albums. What are most of these bands thinking? What's the point of doing an exact copy of song - minus the original inspiration?
You know who's really good at covers - although otherwise a brainless twit? Joan Jett. She gets it. You seek to BEST the original version - somehow. And if you can't best it - then LEAVE IT ALONE!
In some ways the Bros. have bested Eno here. It's a very worthy cover. It stands on its own.
@MB7rock That's good that they would put their own flavor to a cover. Covers that try to follow the original gets boring and are way to easy to judge. :)
Another great song from the Yoshida Brothers. I love the soft and smooth feel of this song. It kind of puts me in a reminiscent mood. Definitely on my favorites. :)
@WillFielder78 You need to do a video on the best and worst cover songs ever! I'm serious. I'm ready to fave that bad boy right now! : D
Have you ever heard the Braids' cover of Bohemian Rhapsody? Better! Yes. I said it. BETTER than the original! That's the way to do it.

@MB7rock lol those are just a small handful of good covers. Kittie did a cover on Pink Floyd's Run Like Hell and it was extremely horrible.

@MB7rock That was a pretty awesome cover. I also forgot about Gob's cover of the Rolling Stones Paint It Black. :)

@WillFielder78 Three covers I've got to check out!
And I'll pay you back with one: Check out Smashmouth's version of Peace Frog. Only good track on that Doors tribute album!

@WillFielder78 It's a Brian Eno cover - and I think they and Cinjun Tate do an AMAZING good job.
Every bit as good as the original - in a slightly different way.
