Hey now, don't diss 552. It's one of the most versatile 4-prop siteswaps - sort of the 4-prop equivalent of 423. I highly recommend exploring it a bit more. 552 is more than just a way to get to 5.
Otherwise, a rock solid tutorial.

Thank you so much! I only have 18 catches with 5, so this should help a ton!

i have a couple of questions.
how long did it take you to learn 5 clubs? and
when i am juggling 5 clubs, i always feel rushed, and my pattern gets low, and i start flipping the clubs faster. what am i doing wrong?

4 club chase rox , you can put flourishes or thumbroles in the "bored" hand ;)

hahahahaha! what a great intro!!... now to learn to juggle with 5 clubs XD

You probably know this already but if you want to change from 4 clubs synch to 4 clubs asynch you throw just one self triple from one hand, so a self 5, and the whole pattern will neatly and instantly turn into asynch. (Works the other way too.) It just looks far neater and more professional than kludging the rhythm like you did there. It's discussed in more detail in the Encyclopaedia of Ball Juggling. (The best juggling book in the world, EVER!) By the way, is that first pattern 552?

hurray! i did over 20 catches today with a clean finish! fluke? probably :)
What clubs do you recommend to someone who is learning 4+ clubs?

I use Renegades 85mm. PX3s are popular, too and they are the same size.
