It's nothing special (well, his playing is, but the scale isn't) It's A minor with a bit of chromatic walking - the chords are Am and F, and even Randy's soloing is pretty solidy in A minor. It's jazzy playing but not terribly jazzy chords.

Man..Fred Turner is so skinny! Good for him....but I miss the old days when they were all huge with their fur collars and platform heels!

Awesome! BTO rocked in the 70's and still rocks now. Stat 101 at BGSU in 1974 with the Blue Collar question and Dr. Ralph St. John, Professor of Statistics. Too cool!
