A fundamental concept of Zionism

Hello, I have uploaded a short video where I explain Zionist fundamentals. I felt compelled to create this video because of the huge amount of malicious misrepresentations of Zionism available on the Internet: specifically on YouTube. I often see Zionism/Zionist used in a pejorative sense, which I often find rooted in anti-semitism. If you really are curious about basic fundamentals of Zionism, then please watch this video. I am also well-aware that the history of Zionism and its evolution over time is a large subject of considerable complexity (the extent of which I obviously cannot cover in a ten-minute video), but here is my attempt to educate those of you who have a genuine desire to know what basic Zionism really is. To the disappointment of many, this video is in no way along the same lines as many other YouTube videos out there about Zionism which attempt to disparage and denigrate Jews and delegitimatize Israel. This video is, rather, a simple look at a basic tenet of Zionism: the pursuit and establishment (mission accomplished!) of a Jewish state.

Clearly the manifestation of Zionism over time in different ways is controversial matter, and I do *not* address this in my video.

Good explanation of the textbook definition of zionism. It's a shame it has become equated in many peoples minds with Israeli expansionism, and the oppression and suffering of the palestinian people.
