Don't listen to them! Do what you want, fortunately my parents are cool, but they don't want me to have piercings, but I'm going to get them when I'm 18, and tattoos. Just let your parents know why you want a tattoo, and maybe they'll understand. Also my parents won't let me go to this AFI and Green Day concert that I want to go to, but I trryed telling them why, and their thinking about it. I hope you figure it all out.

I'm fourteen, and I want spider bites like Christofer Ingle, but my mum is completely against it. I have my bellybutton pierced and two holes in each ear, but she is absolutely against anything on the face. I'm like you, my whole family is against piercings. Ugh.

my parents are like that. i still plan on when i move out getting hip, bellybutton, and eyebrow piercings.

Mine are exactly the same way. So I understand. Except, I went ahead and got my Hips pierced, belly button, lip. And, I also got a tattoo. Also, SOON to have my collarbones pierced. XD

@kayheavymetalchick my parents are the same way, they like to play the whole our house our rules card all the time. It also comes back to them growing up in a different environment than us. People in past generations that had tattoos and piercing were generally frowned upon, and they are probably trying to look out for your best interests in trying to get a job and what not, but they will learn to accept it over time. After all they did raise you

I came home from university with my lip pierced and my dad was almost ready to kick me out. i took it out a few months ago to get a job but i plan on telling my parents before i get my first tattoo so i can explain it to them and so they won't completely lose it...but i have to keep in mind that once i finish school i will probably have to move back home for a bit.
