Me playing Superstition by Stevie Wonder. I sequenced all the parts and played clav part live. Exquisitely difficult piece. I've been trying for years and I'm no closer to cracking it.

  • @Satchelabc123 Thanks!

  • Turn..Turn..Turn..Tap, Ha Ha.. I'm silly old Queen this morning..

Good Golly Miss Molly!.. I do like your music.

It's waking me up after a few hours of computer working... Please forgive that I've never taken the time to ask about how you learned to play, background.. I'll bet we all want to know. Tell us just a little bit in reply, ok? You are GREAT are this? 5 ***** ~~Queen Joan ~Louisiana ...usa

  • All I can say is I love you!

  • Defo the best version of this on you tube! You've got a great feel. I'm messing about with it just now....it'd be great if you could do another video and explain some of the rhythms when you bring in your right hand. The rhythm seems to be most important in creating the illusion of multiple parts.

  • Thanks for your kindness, gems84x. Yeah, this is a fiendishly difficult piece to figure out. I've been trying for years, and I'm still miles off. I'll see if I can send you this vid of Stevie playing it. It's fricken unreal how he does it!

  • Nice playing man that was awesome man even though it was only bits and parts it was really good

  • I think the key to getting the sound right is layering multiple clavinet tracks. I'm pretty sure that's how it's done on the actual recording.

  • Wow, that was great. You've got a really good rhythm and feel for it. I agree with Gems84X, if you could make a video to explain some of the rhythms and placings of the right hand chords, that would be great! I've got the left hand down, but I'm having a hard time with the right hand.

  • dude, turn on your lights

  • That was awesome

Hope you upload some more of your music

  • Oh wow, great job on actually adding to the main riff to fill it out and make it feel funkay. I'll have to nick that! Thanks!
