In other words, you're a closed-minded fool and I'm wasting my time debating with you.

@VenusInPisces - You have "personally" known? Where? Do you work at a therapist's or doctor's office? An LGBT center? Or your "church?" You won't convince anybody with alleged anecdotal "evidence" without at least citing a context for knowing these people and knowing what became of them.

Meanwhile here is FACT: no responsible therapist or psychiatrist will claim true transsexualism can be "cured" by prayer or therapy. Many of us tried for years. If you REALLY knew any of us, you'd know that.

@christineglamazon I don't need to read it, I have personally known many people with this problem. I know the story. Its about disconnecting from themselves because it was not affirmed, seen in a positive way. I have also seen many people heal themselves who had this issue. They were able to get intouch with the rejection they experienced from their parents for the sex they were born as, face the pain and the rejection they then felt for themselves, and were able to heal this disconnection.

@VenusInPisces - Oh, so now you're a licensed psychotherapist? {Possess a Master's degree in clinical psych, at least? Did you at the very least read Chaz's new book? I didn't think so. You have NO idea what it's like to be a transsexual person, much less what went on in his head, and so your lame, talkshow guesswork is meaningless. BTW, Chaz is a HE not a "she." Have some respect.

@strangersNparadise its all about parents rejecting their sexual identity, then they really associate bad things with their sexual identity and so reject themselves, so almost like killing that part of themselves they then have a sex change. I remember when Chaz was Chasity talking about how she was a conservative girl, not like her mom and didn't feel accepted as only felt accepted when she dresssed like a biker??? Cher like this apparently. So yes no guess why she is now a guy.

@strangersNparadise - Are you a medical doctor or some other scientific researcher? What makes someone a man or a woman? For every criteria you can come up with, anyone armed with the facts can debunk it. Who gave you the power to declare anyone's gender?

@VenusInPisces.. i 100% agree. its sad. mainly because she didnt choose these feelings of reversed gender, she has stated that she felt this way all along..but, at present i dont think theres any clear cut ideas-theory on how one arrives to this condition. is she caring? yes. is she loveable and a loving person? yes. is she brave? Oh yes! has to be! but is she a man??..No. cant be. ever.

@VenusInPisces - What's sad is how anyone can pass judgment on a person they've never met, whom they know little about, whose life and state of mind and emotions of which they are clueless. How can anybody judge another person, lacking SO much information?

P.S. Do the world a favor and decline jury duty in the future under the grounds you are quick to convict people on the basis on no evidence whatsoever.
